Gebr. Van der Salm from Boskoop has been using Aerport since the beginning of 2021. Currently, Aerport is used at more than 20 locations. Four of these locations are in Portugal, where Van der Salm has been growing lavender at its own nursery for years.

The transition to Aerport:

Van der Salm was one of the first ornamental horticulture companies to make the switch to Aerport. Ruud Drost explains: "We previously worked with a custom software package that was developed in-house. The maintenance became too much for our organization, and it was not future-proof enough. We started looking for something else and that is how we found Aerport. From the beginning, the communication was clear and straightforward. Because Aerport was still being fully developed at that time, it was particularly helpful that they clearly indicated which features would and would not be possible at the start. This helped ensure that the transition went flexibly and smoothly."

Because the foundation was so solid, we have been able to build on it over the years and were soon able to shift our focus to the other modules.
